My responsibilities involve creating a proactive approach to student life components such as housing and dining, Transportation, health, safety and wellness as well as sustainability and environmental responsibility and equity.  I work in and alongside these various intersecting components to ensure that your experience here at western and the Bellingham community is one of quality and that it ensures that you are able to thrive here on campus. Furthermore, these responsibilities, just like all others works to foster an environment of inclusion, diversity and social responsibility that we all strive to uphold.  I want to ensure that we have a sustainability initiative that is focused Around community, Food that is as local as possible and ensuring that your housing serves your needs- especially for those students that are otherwise marginalized here in campus and in the greater community.  I have a number of other goals for this position and what it can achieve this year and the years ahead. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to drop in during my office hours so we can have conversations on what more I can do , how I can serve you better, or if you just want to talk.  My office location, hours and email are available above.
