Blue Crew

The BLUE CREW is all about YOU, the WWU Students. It's the official WWU student spirit/cheering organization/club in the stands, referred to as "Viking Territory" at every athletic event. The wild, crazy, boisterous and dedicated fans are devoted to school spirit and cheering on their Vikings. "Viking Territory" is a place where everyone can come together to support one cause, Western Athletics. The BLUE CREW means more than just being a fan at the game, it means being a part of the game. The BLUE CREW is a team in the bleachers just like the football team on the field. Joining the BLUE CREW and stepping into "Viking Territory" as a Viking fan builds an unstoppable team, whether it's soccer or volleyball, BLUE CREW brings excitement & energy to all Western Athletic events.

Body Empowerment Club

Friends of Asian Elephants (FAE)

FAE aims to spread public awareness of the plight of the endangered asian elephant and promote a change in the way domesticated elephants are treated. One of our main goals is to raise money to foster an elephant at the Elephant Nature Park, ENP. ENP is a non-profit organization that promotes the rights of asian elephants in Thailand. ENP is a sanctuary for mistreated and abused elephants that have been rescued and live in peace at ENP, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

International Business Club

To provide an interest-group-based forum to assist students in learning more about the international business community and world economy. And giving students a chance to be a part of it through intellectual and social activities. Kite Flying Society

Ever since Man has looked up, he has been fascinated with the skies. And one of the first things man thought was, "I wonder if I can fly things off of a string up there?" And thus kite flying was born. The Kite Flying Society is serious business. It is a breeding ground for kite enthusiasts and beginners alike. Some society sponsored events include, group flying, kite workshops for beginners and the experienced, making your own kites, and if we can figure out how, kite fighting. Remember to look to the skies.

Making Western Diverse

Our club is an extension of the WA State Achievers Scholars program here at Western. The Achievers Scholars are low-income students who received the scholarship based on the diversity in their high schools. About 50% of the recipients are students of color and about 30% of our students are ESL. The purpose of our club is to put on social and academic events to bring together the older and newer Achievers who currently attend Western. But most important, we would like to provide a support system not only for Achievers, but for any student who wishes to build a strong foundation here.

Pog Club Revolution

The first rule about Pog Club, is you don't talk about Pog Club. Pogs exploded with popularity in the early 90's and involves milk caps with various pictures screened on their sides, and the almighty slammer. Banned in most elementary schools across the nation, Pogs are now making an underground movement to rise again. The Pog Club Revolution is looking to bring Pogs back in the mainstream with trournaments, events, and Pog making classes. Come join the Pog revolution! "Pogs - Bringin' em Back!"
