Purpose:

The Transportation Advisory Committee works to implement an ongoing transportation agenda on behalf of the Associated Students by:

  • Researching, developing, and revising a student transportation agenda, including shortcomings and proposed solutions to student concerns relating to any method of transportation used by the WWU community.
  • Promoting and soliciting feedback on the agenda among the students and surrounding community of WWU.
  • Maintaining communication with all major transportation decision-making bodies including, but not limited to, the AS Alternative Transportation Fee Committee, the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA), the Campus Community Coalition, the Neighborhood Associations and the City of Bellingham
