Environmental Center

The A.S. Environmental Center is dedicated to providing resources and

and international environmental issues. In order to accomplish this, we
offer books, videos, magazines, and other media on a full range of
topics - from acid rain to zero population growth. We also bring
speakers to campus and present educational programs throughout the year,
including the annual Earth Fair in the spring.

Outdoor Center
-
We are an Associated Students organization here to serve the
recreational needs of Western and other colleges in the Bellingham
community. The Outdoor Center brings many interesting slide shows and
outdoor oriented films and lectures to campus every year.
But we are much more than that. In addition to the special events, we
have a number of services, like those listed below. We also program many
instructional and recreational trips, which are open to everyone
in the community.
