These are ongoing, AS board-mandated functions with operating budgets, programming funds, office space, salaried student coordinators/assistants, hourly personnel and full-time staff. AS programs offer students a wide range of employment opportunities and help enrich the college experience through the many events, discussions and services they sponsor. The AS provides an eclectic variety of programming within AS Productions and the Resource and Outreach Programs . Additionally, there are other unique programs like the Ethnic Student Center, Outdoor Center, Environmental Center, KVIK Television, and KUGS FM
The AS offers funding, space, and services to Western students uniting around common interests for long or short-term activities. Student-initiated clubs also receive support from AS staff advisors who can help your group locate all the resources available on campus. The AS supports over two hundred student clubs.
