Publicity Center
-
The Publicity Center (PC) is a full service, student-run advertising facility. We
offer graphic design, faxing, poster posting, offset printing and other
public relations services to any student or student organization of WWU.
Additionally, the PC provides webmastering, press release writing, and
production of the AS Review (the newsletter of the AS) for the Associated
Students.

Off-campus Housing Registry

The Off Campus Housing Registry is a service brought to you by the Viking Union.
Students, faculty and staff of Western may access this service to find housing
and search for roommates. Landlords, for a small fee, may list their rooms,
apartments and houses.

Business Office
-
The AS Business Office exists to facilitate the day-to-day financial operation of
the Associated Students. The Business Director serves as the primary operational
interpreter of AS financial policies and the intent of budget allocations.

Child Development Center
-
Associated Students Child Development Center is a NAEYC accredited parent
cooperative full day child care program (with a sliding fee scale for student
parents) for children ages 2-5 years of age. Our goal is to provide a safe
and healthy environment for young children which supports the social,
emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of each child. The A.S. CDC
is not only a child-centered program; it is family centered as well.

Lakewood

Located on beautiful Lake Whatcom, this 4,000-square-foot log facility on
9+ acres contains a boat house, meeting lounge, locker rooms, over 60
watercraft, a sand volleyball court, picnic tables and BBQ's, hiking trails,
and a Ropes Challenge Course.

Recycle Center

The AS Recycle Center provides the opportunity for faculty,
staff, and students to recycle on campus, and educates the
University Community on the recycling process at Western.

Viking Union

As the Community Center of Western Washington University, the
VU is a place for you to meet, get involved, and to relax. It
is a union of people, events, facilities, and services.

Viqueen Lodge
-
This 800-square-foot lodge is located on 13 acres on Sinclair
Island at the gateway to the San Juans, which features extensive
beach walks, interior island dirt roads ideal for mountain biking,
salmon fishing and mental relaxtion. The lodge is available year-round
by contacting the VU Reservations Office.

Western Associated Students Bookstore

The Bookstore is a non-profit, self-supporting organization operated
in the format of a student cooperative; textbook prices reflect a student
discount of 10%, and all net operating revenues support student programs
through the Associated Students (AS.) The AS is an active partner with
the Bookstore, providing feedback and input on recommendations regarding
general policies and services. Products include WWU emblematic items,
cards & gifts, art & school supplies, general books, study aids,
sportswear, computer hardware & software, electronics, food & sundries,
cd's & dvd's.
