Daniel McLafferty for VP of Legislative & Governmental Affairs
My name is Daniel McLafferty and I am running for the position of VP of Legislative and Governmental Affairs, the position to which I am currently the assistant. I am the President of Students for Civic Engagement and have served on a number of committees including the Legislative Affairs Council and Mayor’s Neighborhood Advisory Council. I also have experience lobbying with state legislators.
My main goals as the VP will be to prioritize the improvement of the environment to a much larger degree than it has been in the past, to fight against unfair practices that target students, and to dramatically increase the accessibility of the VP office in order to best represent you, the students. By affecting change, I will get the job done.
