My name is Aaron Garcia. My passion for this school is immeasurable, since the first day I stepped onto this campus I knew I was a WWU Viking. I am a Fairhaven student with far too many interests to figure out what my concentration will be. My passions are Political Science, Chicano Studies, and Digital Video Production. However, it is not all work and no play for me. I have been involved in many clubs here on campus ranging from the Latino Student Union (LSU) to the Filipino American Student Association, and you can always catch me at the occasional concert in the VU MPR.

The 2007-08 school year is going to be really exciting. All of the new A.S. Board of Directors members have great plans for next year, including student outreach. There are 200+ clubs in the A.S., however not enough students are participating in these clubs. Unfortunately, lack of attendance makes some really great clubs inactive and the students miss out. I wish to continue the ACE leadership conference, making it one of the cornerstone events here at WWU. Finally, I want to make sure every student knows what the A.S. does. The A.S. Board plays an integral part in all WWU students' daily lives and I hope over the course of the year every student on campus will get a deeper understanding of that.
